Ivanna Nikoloska and Daniel Lazarevski Petrovski: the traineeship experience at Calabretta school of Soverato

Since we came a month ago there's a huge difference between what we felt then and what we feel now about our surrounding and the people we met. Our story began in the institute Antonino Calabretta. It was a bit overwhelming at first but as the time went by we felt eager to go and teach the students there something new and exciting everyday . We had classes where we talked about the differences and the similarities between Italy and Macedonia. We thought the students interesting facts about our country and we shared our experiences in Italy with them. We are so thankful to JUMP organization that provided us with the experience we got so far. It is a very good little part of our lives in Italy. We felt in love with the Calabrian culture and tradition, we met great people and we become like a family. Our knowledge of Italian language is getting wider and we are so thankful to know that when we go back home we will have a great story to tell.

Magdalena Kučinoti, the working experience in BIG MAT

When we get to Soverato, we were few students, dropped in new environment, facing new challenges. Then, during the first week we understood that we are staying in the most colorful part of Italiy, full of nature, life and awesomeness. We were stocked by the endless beaches, great food and the best of all, the warmness and kindness from the people here. Then, our experience continued in BigMat, where me and my friend met great people, who accepted us like a part of the family. First,we thought we will have difficulties with the language and the work, but now we know that when you co-operate with professionals with big experience behind and a will to learn you, every job could be done. Up to now, we learned a lot. Now,we are working in updating the software in BigMat and we are looking forward for new moments and experiences that are yet to come.

Ivanna Nikoloska and Daniel Lazarevski Petrovski - first impressions working at Calabretta school

Our experience in Italy started by meeting great people, we visited a famous University and we made new friends. Me and Daniel work in two high schools where we met great professors and many students. It is a new adventure for us, we started learning from the students like they started learning from us. Everything is fun and new for us, the diversity of the students is also interesting and we got to know their culture ant mentality. By the end of the experience we will have a great story to tell.

Bojan Petresski - trainneeship by Ranieri International

I had landed an Internship at Ranieri, a company that is manufacturing and selling boats. My first tough was that I'd be working in a cubicle where i was going to do mostly paperwork and entering data in a computer. But boy was i wrong. My first day on the job wasn’t very easy. I needed to make new boat cards for every boat separately. Making those documents lasted at least 10 days. After that I started working on the web site where i was putting new information and pictures for every single boat. The first days were nerve wracking but my mentor was there every step of the way, guiding and correcting my mistakes. When I had extra time i was in the factory where the boats are made manually by the workers who had many years of experience. Every boat was made to near perfection. All in all, my internship has brought to me many beneficial things and I'm looking forward to take home what I've learned and apply it in my job of the future.

Daniel Lazarevski Petrovski - traineeship at ITE Calabretta school

My experience here so far made me more patient, professional and wiser. I enjoy spending time with my friends at home, the new friends from Italy and the students at the schools where we have our training-ship. I learned a lot of new things about the Italian culture and even more about the Calabrian. We shared opinions and made debates about the differences and similarities between Macedonia and Italy and it was a fun way to learn new things and also teach . I am thankful for this little part of my life
