On March 19th there was a pre kick-off meeting online with the partners of the Education Out of the box project. The meeting had the goal to get in touch and simply know each of the partners collaborating in the project.
The project Education Out of the box has the goal to re-organize the chaos around distance learning/digital education/digital teaching and provide teachers with new digital skills, so that the quality of the European educational system can be improved.
The project leader, Mr. Krim from FAPEL in Luxembourg (https://www.fapel.lu/en/), led the meeting, to which project partners from 5 countries participated: JUMP from Italy (https://www.associazionejump.it/), Henallux from Belgium (https://www.henallux.be/), Social Leadership Association from Lithuania, Bulgarian National Union of Teachers from Bulgaria (https://www.csee-etuce.org/), Institute for Entrepreneurship Development (https://ied.eu/) and Playing NGO from Greece (https://movingandlearningoutside.eu/)
JUMP is a partner expert in Non-formal education and Outdoor education. Non-formal learning takes place outside formal learning environments but within some kind of organisational framework, while Outdoor education can be simply defined as experiential learning in, for, or about the outdoors.
The next online meeting is set on April 22nd.
