English

Non formal training - Take out the English communication that is in you and use it to improve your career, find a job and develop your business

Description and main aims

Draft proposed program

We are aware that we are not based in the UK and it seems strange to learn English here, especially Business English, in the South of Italy but in our team we have native English very experienced and open minded trainers (from Australia and USA) so we like to say that: also in Italy it is possible to improve English skills and, at the same time, develop transversal skills to increase the quality of teaching in Europe. We have created a real international dimension at local level thanks to JUMP Academy for professional training.

Furthermore, we don't have the same costs as England, we assure high quality of life thanks to good food, good weather, the sea, nature, sandy beaches, a healthy lifestyle and less difficulties to reach us because we are members of the EU.

The course combines elements of business and it is focused on improving technical English for teachers who have to address new ways of communicating to students.

Target group

Teachers should be English teachers or teachers of Economy or professional figures in charge of guidance and support the school-to-work placement.

With this course teachers learn how to transfer to students a more technical English vocabulary, more expressions to be used in communication and business development, raising creativity and knowledge on the actual global economy and potential for future generations job development.

The course is also for professionals, business operators, and business coaches to improve their English language from the point of view of business development, communication, soft and leadership skills.

Like all our programs, the present one is flexible and adaptable to special requests, depending on the subject taught or on the starting level of the participant.

Furthermore, in line with the JUMP Academy method, our courses are based on a strategic balance between formal and non-formal education, indoor and outdoor education and the team takes care of a very important aspect of international mobility which is the intercultural learning which we develop with short excursions and facilitating the interaction with local partners, businesses and citizens of our territory. Each local context has its own economy so it’s always useful, in training programs, to get in contact with concrete examples (experiential learning and real based learning).

We always try to connect our learners to local teachers and students to cooperate in developing innovation and networking for future projects. If possible, inside the program, a morning is spent inside a local school, visiting, observing, and cooperating in the realization of one or more lessons. The proposed program JUMP works, in European dimension and with an international spirit, at the local level and, according to the period of the training along the year and the weather, it is possible to change some sessions and add visits and meetings, in cooperation with our network of partners including schools involved in European projects).
